Flickr

I was familiar with Flickr because my daughter and her family use it to post pictures of our grandson. They are getting a little slack now that he is older, but I still check it every few weeks to see if they have anything new.

For this assignment I went to SC libraries and found a picture of myself and staff member Rick at our Read Across America program last spring, so here is the link for that pic:

Quest 6-Tag You're It

I found the Del.icio.us site to be something that I could really use. I tagged some things that I frequently look for and plan to spend some more time doing so. The one problem I have with this is that we could not get the program to load on our service desk computer, it is so old and slow. Hopefully we will get a new one soon.

As for the Technorati site, I can't see me using this. At this time I'm not that interested in what other bloggers are saying. The few subjects I entered-cooking, crossword puzzles, and children's literature, came up with way too many entries.

Quest 5

This was fun, interesting to see all the things that you can do. I tried to Simpsonize myself, but couldn't get it to work on my old computer. Decided to add the picture and had trouble until a knowledgeable young staff member showed me about the "edit html", so let's see if it now works.
